Did you know that right here in San Jose, there’s a whisky distillery producing whiskies that have scored higher than legendary names like Yamazaki 18 and Macallan 18?

Founded by two Silicon Valley Indians, 10th Street Distillery has earned international acclaim, with its whiskies taking the #1 spot in the world at prestigious international competitions and earning exceptional ratings in Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible.

10th Street is a grain-to-glass distillery in San Jose. Our whiskies have earned coveted Gold and Double Gold awards at renowned competitions, including the New York and San Francisco spirits competitions. The distillery also welcomes visitors for tours and tastings on weekends, so you can discover this hidden gem right here in Silicon Valley.

You’ve been enjoying some of their award-winning whiskies this evening, and we’re excited to offer a truly special private tasting tour for this silent auction.

An exclusive two-hour private tasting, distillery tour, and barrel tasting for up to six people at 10th Street Distillery, where you’ll get to sample whisky straight from the cask! It is valued at $140 per person, for a total value of $840.

Our Guests will enjoy our Single Malt and Blend whiskies paired with small bites, discover how water or ice affects whisky’s flavor, and enjoy craft cocktails such as the Penicillin and Old Fashioned. The experience also includes a behind-the-scenes look at how whisky is made and a barrel tasting straight from the cask.

Along the way, we’ll explore questions such as:

• Is there an “e” in whisk(e)y?
• How much whisky can a horse carry?
• Is alcohol the reason we are civilized?
• Is there a correct way to drink whisky?
